The SRLHD Community

A Community of People Who
Choose to Think and Lead Well

The SRLHD community spans 32 countries and every major sector of public and professional life. What holds it together is not geography, nor industry — it is a shared commitment to reasoning more carefully, leading more wisely, and living more fully.

Three Pillars of Community

How the Community Lives

The SRLHD community is sustained through three interconnected structures — the alumni network, the mentorship programme, and the annual summit. Each serves a distinct purpose. Together, they form something rare: a learning community that endures.

01

Alumni Network

The SRLHD Alumni Network

FoundingFirst cohort in progress

Every graduate of SRLHD becomes a permanent member of our alumni network — a global community of practitioners who think clearly, lead wisely, and live purposefully. The network is not a directory. It is an ongoing relationship.

Mentorship Programme

The SRLHD Mentorship Programme

PlannedAfter first graduation

As the first cohort completes their programmes, a structured mentorship programme will connect new students with graduates who are applying what they learned in senior roles, public life, and their communities. Pairs will be matched by sector, aspiration, and development goals.

Joining the Community

How to Become Part of This

Community membership is not purchased. It is earned through engagement. It begins when you choose to learn — and it lasts as long as you choose to remain part of what SRLHD is building.

1

Enrol in an SRLHD programme

Community membership begins the moment you join an SRLHD programme. Students gain immediate access to peer learning groups, the community platform, and mentorship matching.

2

Complete your programme

On graduation, you become a permanent SRLHD alumnus — with full access to the alumni network, alumni events, and all community resources, for life.

3

Stay connected and contribute

The community grows stronger when its members give back. Mentor a student. Write for the alumni digest. Speak at the Summit. The invitation is always open.

Community Values

What We Expect of Each Other

1

We take each other seriously

Every member of this community is here because they chose to think more carefully about how they live and lead. That commitment commands respect — across every background, sector, and stage of life.

2

We challenge without diminishing

SRLHD teaches people to question ideas, not attack people. Our community practises this. Disagreement is welcome. Intellectual honesty is expected. Personal dignity is non-negotiable.

3

We give back generously

The alumni who mentor, the practitioners who teach, the graduates who contribute — they are the community. We do not merely belong to SRLHD. We are what SRLHD is.

4

We remain students

Completion of a programme is the beginning, not the end. The most distinguished members of this community are those who continue to learn — openly, humbly, and with curiosity.

"I finished the programme two years ago. I have learned more from this community in the time since than I did in the first institution I attended for four years."

Owen Davies

Advanced Diploma Graduate — Cwm Valley Community Trust, Cardiff
